A logo may not seem important to your small business, but it truly is. While your logo more than likely will not be as recognizable as the McDonald’s arches or the Facebook F, your logo will still define who you and your business are. Customers who buy your products and services will be influenced by your logo, even in subconscious ways.
A logo is the first look a potential customer will take at a business. It needs to communicate who that business is quickly and efficiently. If the logo is clean and professional, they will get the impression that the business is as well. If it is obviously hastily done, the customer might think the same will be true of the customer service and services and/or products.
A good logo will make the business stand out from the competition. A unique logo will stick out in a customer’s mind, and it will cause a customer to choose the business and keep coming back! If a logo is unique from similar businesses, the customer will think that business is as well.
There are many important aspects of a logo for you to think about for your business. Color, font, images, tone, size, etc. It is important to find the right blend of all of these qualities for you and your business. If you are a toy shop, you probably won’t want a black and white logo. If you are a real estate company, you won’t want a car in your logo. If you’re a dress shop, you probably don’t want big, aggressive, blocky letters.
Here at M2 Frontier, we highly recommend that you have a logo for your business for us to put on your website. If you want some help or aren’t sure where to start, we can put you in touch with people who can help you get started.
